How do I find events near me?

Type your city, town, or ZIP code into the search box, or click "use my location" to let your browser share your current location. HoodHappening will show events happening nearby, ranked by distance and date.

Do I need an account?

No. HoodHappening has no sign-up, login, or account of any kind. Search and browse freely.

Where does the event data come from?

We aggregate publicly available event listings from many sources — ticketing platforms, venues, event organizers, government and municipal calendars, tourism boards, community groups, and public social media pages. Each listing links back to its original source so you can see full details and, if needed, purchase tickets or RSVP there.

An event listing is wrong, outdated, or has already happened — what do I do?

Past events are automatically removed from HoodHappening on a regular schedule, but if you spot an incorrect, outdated, or duplicate listing, please let us know via the Contact pagewith a link to the event, and we'll correct or remove it.

I'm an event organizer or venue — how do I remove or correct my listing?

Email us via the Contact page with the listing link and what needs to change. We honor good-faith correction and removal requests promptly.

Is HoodHappening free?

Yes, HoodHappening is completely free to use, with no ads getting in the way of finding events.

Does HoodHappening track me?

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic, and do not require any personal information to use the site. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
